Special GO Transit Service to the Toronto Caribbean Carnival Parade

Let GO Transit take you to the Toronto Caribbean Carnival Parade! On August 3rd, special transit service will run on the Stouffville Line to take you to the parade. Take advantage of this great opportunity to enjoy the festivities with you and your family! Remember, children under 12 ride for free. For more information click here.
Local Community Events
Come and celebrate Greek life at the Markham-York Region Greek Festival at Sts. Panteleimon, Anna, and Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church!
The festival closes tonight at 9:00pm so if you haven’t been out to enjoy Greek food, music and culture yet, this is your last chance!

Stouffville Ribfest
The 7th Annual Stouffville Country Ribfest is back and will feature a wide variety of the best ribs in Canada, live music, and more.
This year’s event will be taking place from August 9-11th.
It will feature – but not be limited to – BBQ pit-masters such as:
  • Sticky Fingers BBQ & Company
  • Uncle Sam’s BBQ Stand
  • Texas Rib Rangers Billy Bones BBQ.
Breweries at the festival will include the Market Brewery, Amber Brewing, Mill Street, and Brickworks Cidery.

Markham-Stouffville Provincial Youth Council
I'm pleased to share that I will be convening the first Markham-Stouffville Provincial Youth Council. The Youth Council is an opportunity for youth across the riding to provide feedback and input on how the Ontario government can better serve them.

About the Riding

The provincial riding of Markham-Stouffville was created in 2018 and is made up of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville and some parts of the City of Markham lying east of Highway 48, McCowan Road, and the Rouge River. In Markham we take in the communities of Dixon Hill, Markham Village, Raymerville, Cornell, Box Grove, Locust Hill, Legacy, and Greensborough, to name just a few.
