Throwback Thursday - George S. Henry
For today’s #TBT we go back to 1913 and George S. Henry, the 7th MPP representing York East. From 1913 to 1943, MPP Henry was one of the longest serving members of our riding and also held the Office of Prime Minister of Ontario from 1930 to 1934. His government spearheaded the construction of the QEW, Ontario’s first four lane divided highway.
